I want Cas back, too, but I’m not gonna flip my shit over it. I’m just happy he’s coming back at all, in Misha’s skin, in any capacity. They could have been like “fuck you, no Misha, fuck Cas, he’s dead” and not brought him back at all. Three episodes, three days, three weeks, three months, three years, whatever. Makes no difference to me. Like I said, I’m just happy they’re bringing him back at all.
No offense to anyone else, but I want the show to end after this season anyway. Seven seems like a good number of seasons to finish out on.
And come on, if they get renewed for season 8, when is Jared gonna get to spend time with his son? Or are they gonna have to knock Sam unconscious for a few episodes just so Jared can hang out with his wife and watch his son grow up?
And on top of everything else, where would they even go from here? Let them close out on a cliffhanger, finish the series off with a movie a la Serenity, and give them back the people they love, and that’s it.
